I am a Graduate Student at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising majoring in Interior Design. I am looking for an interior design position in the Los Angeles area. I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an area of emphasis in strategy and entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado Boulder. With my business degree, interior design degree and California Real Estate License, I want to work in the real estate and interior design field.
I am highly self-motivated, hardworking, and creative. At The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising I have taken numerous classes to further my knowledge in Interior Design and advance my career. I have taken Revit, Auto-Cad, Adobe Suite and Sketchup classes. I have also taken technical drawing, which is where I learned how to make floor plans by hand on a drafting table. Some other classes include sketching techniques where I have learned how to draw furniture and 1- and 2-point rooms, Design Process, Survey of Architecture and Design, Commercial Design Concepts, Lighting and Design, Human Factors in Design and Residential Design concepts.

I am currently working for Sarah Solis Design Studio as an Interior Design Intern where I help with design treatment projects using Ivy and presentation systems. I also facilitate the selection of furniture fabrics, color palettes and lighting designs. I have previous work experience working for Durango Homes as an Assistant Interior Designer and Stager. At Durango Homes I performed many tasks that included assisting with client needs, creating conceptual designs and working on space planning.
I have also worked for a showroom called Platform Creative in London. Where I worked directly with clients and world renown editors at magazine companies including Elle, Vogue and Nylon. Not only did I work with the clients, I managed their social media accounts and I assisted photoshoots, editorials and held my very own press event while working in London Fashion Week.
