ALISO COMMUNITY SPACE

This is a community based project for commercial use. It is a section of the first floor of the Aliso Apartments in the Arts District of Downtown LA. After doing much research, and programming I decided to make a community space with a gym studio, coffee shop, youth lounge and fully equipped locker rooms. My community facility’s main focus is being a yoga studio but it can double down as a dance room and various other types of workout classes. Other than the workout studio, when you enter the lobby there will be a reception desk, a waiting area and bench seating. Continuing on there’ll be a coffee shop that has ample space for many different type of seating setup whether solo or with a large group. Carrying on will be the youth lounge that has moveable modular seating and a glass enclosed study area. The locker rooms includes a sauna, hot tub, ADA stall and lockers. Work has been curated through Revit and Adobe Illustrator.
